OVERVIEW
The University of Wisconsin Center for Professional and Executive Development (UWCPED) provides a range of high-quality learning programs designed to advance professional skills, leadership capabilities, and organizational performance. While the programs themselves were strong, the previous website did not effectively communicate the depth, value, or accessibility of these offerings. Prospective learners often struggled to find course information, understand program benefits, or navigate the enrollment process which limited both engagement and conversions.
The goal of the redesign was to create a modern, intuitive, and visually compelling digital experience that clearly reflected UWCPED’s mission, expertise, and commitment to professional growth. This involved designing a site that appealed to diverse audiences including executives, mid-career professionals, and organizational decision-makers while supporting the internal teams responsible for content management, program promotion, and reporting.
By combining strategic user research, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven design decisions, the new UWCPED.org aimed to strengthen the organization’s online presence, simplify program discovery, improve user engagement, and ultimately drive higher course enrollments. The redesigned website was conceived as both a marketing and operational tool, creating a seamless experience that connects prospective learners with the programs that will help them advance their careers.
